If you’re into high energy pool parties, you’ll love the Vegas-style events. Prefer something more relaxing? There are plenty of quiet spots for relaxation and soaking up the sun.
The Caribbean-inspired food is fresh and delicious, and activities like “We Run This Beach” add a competitive twist to the day. Plus, with free WiFi and your Bar Tab working just like it does on the ship, it really feels like the cruise fun just continues on shore.
Virgin Voyages picked an incredible spot for this club! The crystal clear waters of Bimini, Bahamas, make the whole experience feel like paradise.

How To Get To Beach Club at Bimini?
Getting to the Beach Club at Bimini is super easy with Virgin Voyages. Transportation with the local tram is included. Once you disembark, it’s just a short walk (about 50 feet) to the tram.
The tram makes a few stops along the way.
First, you’ll arrive at Fisherman’s Village, where you can hop off to explore local restaurants and shops. After that, the tram stops at Resorts World, and then finally at the Beach Club at Bimini. Just stay on the tram until you reach the Beach Club.
Quick tip: At Fisherman’s Village, some locals might offer to rent you a golf cart. They can be quite persistent! If you’re interested, golf carts are handy for getting around later in the day, but you can always politely decline and keep enjoying your trip.

As soon as you arrive, you will be dropped off at the front of the beautiful resort. Once you make your way through the bar areas and pools, you will see a walkway to the beach.
You’ll be greeted by powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and a relaxed, resort-style vibe—without the crowds. This private stretch of paradise is designed so you can unwind, recharge, and enjoy the island at your own pace.
Whether you want to lounge in a hammock under the palms, swim in the warm Caribbean sea, or grab a shaded daybed to sip a cocktail, the Beach Club gives you plenty of space and privacy.

“We Run This Beach” is a signature series of on-shore beach games at the Beach Club at Bimini, and it’s a highlight you won’t want to miss.
Some of the games you’ll play include passing water in buckets down the line to your teammates, maneuvering a hula hoop through your team’s joined arms, and tossing games. Plus plenty of other creative challenges!
There’s always something fun and unexpected to keep everyone laughing and engaged.

One of the best things about the Beach Club at Bimini is the abundance of space to kick back and soak up the Caribbean sun.
No matter where you wandered, there was always a comfortable spot waiting. Whether you prefer a hammock, a lounger, or a cozy daybed, relaxation was never in short supply.
Pro tip: show up early to get front row seats at the beach. Even if you show up a little bit late, the whole resort is private to Virgin Voyages sailors so be ready to take on the pristine Bimini beach.
6. Enjoy Caribbean Inspired Food
Virgin Voyages is known for its outstanding food, and the Beach Club at Bimini definitely lives up to that reputation.
We were treated to Caribbean-inspired dishes like coconut curry (jerk style) chicken, rice and beans, and a refreshing watermelon/jicama salad. The perfect way to kick off a day at the beach. My wife tried the banana leaf snapper and couldn’t stop raving about how phenomenal it was.
Having stayed at more than 30 all-inclusive resorts throughout South America and the Caribbean, we honestly expected the food to be just average, like so many other places. But Virgin Voyages completely surprised us! The flavors and quality were on another level.
The food was so good, I couldn’t resist going back for seconds later in the day. Every dish just felt right for the island vibe and made the whole experience even better.
7. Yoga/Meditation on The Beach
If you’re into meditation and breath work, you’ll love this experience. One of Virgin Voyages’ trainers leads a relaxing session of yoga and meditation right on the beach, creating the perfect setting to unwind and reconnect.
I watched my wife participate, and it was clear how refreshed and revitalized she felt afterward. They even took the practice into the water for part of the session, and I could see just how happy and at peace she was in that moment. It’s a truly unique way to start your day in paradise.
Keep in mind you will be charged a small fee if you do not show up to meditation after reserving your spot!
8. Rent A Cabana
If you want to elevate your Beach Club at Bimini experience and feel like a VIP, booking a cabana is the way to go. You’ll need to reserve your cabana through the “Shore Things” section on the Virgin Voyages app, and just a heads up, there is an additional fee for this upgrade.
With your cabana reservation, you’ll get your own private section complete with a shaded cabana that fits two people, plus two loungers out front for soaking up the sun. The app will tell you it fits four but after seeing the cabanas, you can probably fit up to six.
It’s the perfect setup if you love having your own space and want to relax in comfort all day long. The cabana area is exclusive and guarded, and you’ll enjoy dedicated drink service right to your spot.
As a bonus, your cabana comes with a drink voucher so you can kick back with a few complimentary beverages. Just keep in mind, if you go over the included amount, any extra drinks will be charged to your account. Keep an eye on your tab!
9. Bonfire on the Beach
At the time of writing this post it seems like almost all sailor reports and our personal experience asking the crew members that Bonfire on the Beach is a thing of the past with Virgin Voyages.
No one knows the actual reason but most fingers are pointing to the fact that it was costing Virgin Voyages lots of money in port fees by Bimini to stay in the port long enough to have a decent time to light the bonfire.
While it was a great concept for winter months, it seems like it was an easier decision to cancel the bonfire entirely. We still added it to our list because hanging out around the bonfire “globe” while eating Caribbean deserts was fun to us.

Just like onboard a Virgin Voyages ship, your experience at the Beach Club at Bimini comes packed with great amenities.
You’ll enjoy complimentary WiFi, delicious food, full beach access, towel service, access to the pools, and the use of your Bar Tab for drinks.
The best part? All the perks you love on the ship carry right over to the Beach Club. It really feels like a resort style extension of your cruise experience.
One thing to keep in mind: the food and drink menu at the Beach Club is a bit more limited compared to what’s available on the ship. If you’re craving more variety, you can always hop on the free and frequent tram back to the ship to enjoy the full range of dining and drink options.
Does The Bar Tab Work at Beach Club at Bimini?
Absolutely! Your Bar Tab works at the Beach Club at Bimini just like it does on the ship.
Simply scan your wristband with the server, and they’ll take care of your drink order the same way you’re used to.
Pro tip: The drink menu at the Beach Club is a bit more limited than what you’ll find onboard, so expect fewer options.
Non-alcoholic beverages are also included, just like on the ship, and you can even enjoy poolside drink delivery for ultimate convenience.
Towel Exchange
Towels are complimentary at the Beach Club at Bimini.
If you pick one up, just remember to return it to the towel station before you leave. Otherwise, you’ll be charged a fee for any unreturned towels.
Be sure not to bring Beach Club towels back to the ship, as Virgin Voyages will consider them missing and charge you accordingly. If you prefer to use the towels from your stateroom, you can bring those to the club. Be sure to take them back to your cabin at the end of the day.
Belvedere Beach
Belvedere Beach is one of the hidden gems within the Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini. Tucked away from the main pool and party areas, this stretch of pristine shoreline offers a more peaceful, laid back vibe.
It is perfect for sailors looking to unwind and soak up the natural beauty of the Bahamas. Think tranquility with Belvedere Beach.
Rockstar Retreat – Beach Club at Bimini
Just like on board, the Rockstar Retreat at the Beach Club at Bimini is designed to deliver that exclusive “Rockstar Quarters” experience. Access is reserved for Rockstar Suite sailors, offering a private atmosphere to the top paying sailors.
Everything in the Rockstar Retreat is meant to be “elevated”. Beach chairs are a cut above the rest, offering more comfort compared to the standard loungers throughout the resort.
What’s included with the Rockstar Retreat?

Rockstar Cabanas
For an even more elevated experience, the Rockstar cabanas provide a seamless “no line” day. Both food and drinks are served directly to your cabana, so you can relax and enjoy without ever having to leave your spot.
Just a heads up: even if you’re a Rockstar Sailor, you’ll need to reserve your Rockstar Cabana through the app if you want your own private space. (And yes, any sailor can book a Rockstar cabana, not just Rockstars!)
Need service? Simply press the anchor button at your table in the cabana, and a dedicated team member will be right there to take care of you.
Rockstar cabanas come with their own service crew, ensuring prompt and personalized attention. Plus, the cabanas are equipped with outlets, so you don’t have to worry about your devices running out of power.
Best Time To Visit Beach Club at Bimini
We definitely recommend getting off the ship as early as possible.
Arriving early gives you the best chance to snag prime spots like the front row of beach loungers. There is plenty of space to enjoy the stunning, clear waters of Bimini before the crowds arrive.
As the morning goes on, more guests make their way to the Beach Club and the energy starts to build.
The club really comes alive between 11 am and 2 pm, with pool parties, activities like “We Run This Beach,” and lots of events in full swing. Whether you want to dive into the action or just keep relaxing by the water, you’ll have plenty of options.
On both of our visits to the Beach Club at Bimini, we liked to take a two hour break in the middle of the day. Once to explore the beautiful island of Bimini and the other to head back to the ship for a quick nap.
No matter how you choose to spend your downtime, just make sure you’re recharged and ready for more fun ahead!
Can You Buy a Day Pass to Beach Club at Bimini?
If you’re not a Virgin Voyages sailor and would like to get a day pass at Beach Club at Bimini, you can if there is NOT a Virgin Voyages ship at port that day.
These day passes can be purchased through Resorts World who operates the property in partnership with Virgin Voyages.
Note: guests staying at Resorts World have access to the beach club for free. Guests can also access Beach Club at Bimini regardless if there is a Virgin Voyages ship at port or not.
Overall
All in all Virgin Voyages Beach Club at Bimini is one of the best private resort/private island experiences we have been to. When you compare all the cruise lines “private islands” or private offerings, Beach club at Bimini stands on its own.
We really loved the experience from the pristine waters of Bimini to the high end service included with the club. Virgin Voyages did a great job picking the beach club at Bimini as their private offering and it really enhanced the overall experience.
Can some things be improved at Beach Club at Bimini? Of course. But the positives far outweigh the negatives. If you are thinking about booking a Virgin Voyages cruise, don’t hesitate! Especially if Beach Club at Bimini is on the itinerary!
